KAYITESI CHRISTINE

Christine Kayitesi is a Senior Associate at Stabit Advocates. She is a member of the Rwanda Bar Association and the East Africa Law Society, with strong training and experience in legislative drafting and regulatory compliance. Christine holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Rwanda and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD).

Prior to joining Stabit Advocates, Christine honed her legal skills at MK Associated Advocates, where she received comprehensive training in legal practice. Her professional journey includes a notable internship in 2017 at the Rwanda Law Reform Commission, in the Legal Drafting and Contract Department. During this period, she contributed to the Legal Awareness Team, engaging in public education on laws and ministerial regulations.

Christine has developed expertise in legislative drafting, tax advisory, and public law, with a growing portfolio of work in tax law, compliance and governance. She has held positions of responsibility as a member of the Rwanda Bar Association, which is a member of the Pan African Lawyers Union, contributing to regional legal initiatives and professional networks.

Christine has strong proficiency in English, with working knowledge of Kinyarwanda and French. She brings a dynamic blend of technical skill and practical experience, reflecting a commitment to advancing legal awareness, strengthening institutional frameworks, and supporting governance reforms in East Africa.
