Ms. UMUBYEYI Chanceline is an Associate at STABIT ADVOCATES Rwanda, a regional law firm with offices and Partners in several Countries across the African Continent, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, a law firm which is made up of brilliant and professional Advocates. She brings considerable expertise in dispute resolution, contract law, commercial and corporate law.
UMUBYEYI Chanceline is a practicing Advocate of the High Court of Rwanda, A certified Mediator, a member of the Rwanda Bar Association, the East Africa Law Society. She holds a Diploma in Legal Practice awarded by the Institute of Legal Practice and Development, Nyanza, Rwanda, and a Bachelors LL. B Degree from Kigali Independent University in Rwanda.
She is a native speaker of English, Kinyarwanda, Swahili with a working knowledge of French.
Chanceline, Before joining a firm she was trained in Kigali International Arbitration Center, where she specialised in Dispute Resolution and acted as tribunal secretary in arbitral proceedings. Her subsequent legal experience includes providing legal opinions on range of issues and drafting and reviewing contracts ranging from employment contracts, Sales agreements, Construction contracts and drafting submissions.
